Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Excellent experience and great prices. Definitely will order again when it's time to replace all the tires. The only thing was I had to get a black wheel instead of the silver/gray that's on my trailer for the tire i wanted. It's a spare so no big issue, still 5 stars.
Upgrading the tire/wheel package of a Grand Design Travel Trailer. Rims and tires were delivered quickly and I had them installed in less than an hour. The Westlake tire look great and will hopefully turn my GD trailer in a more capable backcountry trailer.
Tire looks fine wheel was trashed one lug had major damaged from what i would guess was tire machine and they shipped it anyway.
This is an EXACT match as a spare tire for my dump trailer. Although the black wheel was out of stock, a sales rep offered to change it to a white rim (I declined). The tire was shipped in a heavy-duty box and arrived in prime condition. I couldn't be happier.

After one year, the tire is still looking great as a spare attached to the side of my dump trailer. I havent had to use it, so it looks pristine.
This tire and wheel combo is exactly what i was looking for. Ive had them on my tandem axle enclosed trailer for a year now and have around 4000 miles on them. I recently pulled them off to rotate and found that they are wearing similarly. Etrailer customer service was prompt and easy to work with as i had an issue at the beginning with the powder coat on one of the wheels. Would definitely buy these again

So far trouble free pulled it to Idaho from Atlanta and back with a 1000 lb load 5,250 mi very happy with purchase
The rims seem to be a lot weaker than the old ones I have damaged them both in a short time. I have owned this trailer for many years and have never had this problem before. On any other rim that we have had on the same trailer, we could clip a curb at low speed ( 1 mile per hour ) like turning a corner at an intersection where there is not much room and no problem when the trailer went over the curb. However with what we bought from you, that same thing bends the rim. That tells me that there is weak metal used in the rims and most likely from China. I contacted customer service about this to see if you have a better built rim and was told that you do not. I have another 16 foot trailer that is used to haul a Bobcat or a mini excavator that weighs in at about 7000lbs each, with the same size rims for over 20 years and have climbed over curbs on a regular basis and have never had one problem.
The other 12 foot trailer that had the rims bought from you has 1 riding lawn mower, 1 push mower, some weed eaters and other yard tools in it. The trailer itself is less than half the weight of my of my 16 footer and maybe 1000lbs of cargo. I am sorry for leaving an un favorable review but you need to investigate the quality of what you are buying.

Hello ordered trailer tires with rims. The price was very comparable may be a little bit less than getting them local. Looked for a load rating D instead of C that worked out for me also. Folks to good job with transportation and getting the product to my home. Thank you very much.
Great set of wheels and tires for the money. Arrived very quickly. Wish they were pre-balanced after being mounted, but not too big of a deal to have done myself before putting them on my trailer

Tires are still doing good and wheels still look great. Not a single bit of paint chipping or anything. They still look like new when I wash them. Couldnt be happier!

These tires will be used on a 5X10 Personal Welding Trailer that I use for repairs on my Farm. I also use it for other projects that I have off the property. This requires a durable tire that will stand up to the weight and speed of traveling down the Interstate.
Product was as described, order was quickly processed, shipping was free with order over $100 and the product arrived on the day it was expected!
Shipment packaged well and arrived quickly for free ground shipping. Reason for 3 stars instead of 5 was powder coat defects on all 4 rim stud holes. Cleaned up excess powder coat due to racking and touched up paint before installing to prevent chipping and rust.
The wheels and tires fit as expected and look great. Can't say much other than that since I just mounted them today. Overall, pleased with the order and delivery processes.

Great quality of tires and wheels
Very nice looking wheel/tire combination. Good value for the money. Online ordering process was quick and easy. Items were promptly shipped and arrived quickly. I have include two photos. One photo shows my trailer after a tire exploded and took out the old fender. The second photo shows new fender, marker light, and wheel/tire after the completed repair.

The tire is exactly as stated. I’m very impressed with the looks of the wheel. It appears to have a very durable finish as well. It is at the tire sho- as I write to confirm PSI and get it balanced. The tire shop tech asked where 9 got it and I told him from etrailer.com and when I told him how much I paid… he gave me that “are you kidding me?” look. LOL super happy with every single person I spoke with (I should say that put up with me and my silly questions) at etrailer. Great product, great price and great staff. WINNER!
