What Size Bolts Are Needed To Secure the etrailer Round, A-Frame Jack TJA-5000S-B

Question:

I just bought a trailer jack from etrailer - TJA-5000S-B A-Frame Trailer Jack. The directions say to use 3/8-16 grade 5 bolts but does not specify how long the bolts should be. So how long should they be?

The etrailer Round, A-Frame Jack part # TJA-5000S-B does not come with hardware so you will need to supply your own. The bolts should be 3/8"-16 grade 5 but the length would vary depending on the specific trailer. That said, I would think 2-1/2" should be plenty.
