I recommend the Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler # DM14793-81. This uses the eZ latch which makes for a quick and simple hookup and disconnect. It is also available in silver # DM14793-52. If you're looking for a more economic option we have the # CA-5210-B which is a weld-on coupler.

  I do have an option for you but coupler repair parts aren't universal so if any of the internal latching mechanisms are damaged or worn on your trailer coupler then chances are high it will need to be replaced for which we offer the A-Frame Trailer Coupler part # CA-5210-B.   I took a look at our yoke-style coupler # CA-5210-B and there doesn't seem to be any type of adjustments that can be made for the coupler to sit more snug on the hitch ball. I would check to make sure that your coupler is cleaned out and free from debris and that you're using the correct hitch ball size for your coupler. For example, there is a 1-7/8" hitch ball and a 2" hitch ball. You wouldn't think that a 1/8" would make that much of a difference but it does.
