Can Yoke-Style Trailer Coupler be Adjusted for Better Connection to Hitch Ball
Published 12/30/2021 >
Question:
I have a yoke style coupler that seems loose when latched onto the ball. Is there a way to adjust the engaged position of the underjaw to tighten it up?

I took a look at our yoke-style coupler # CA-5210-B and there doesn't seem to be any type of adjustments that can be made for the coupler to sit more snug on the hitch ball. I would check to make sure that your coupler is cleaned out and free from debris and that you're using the correct hitch ball size for your coupler. For example, there is a 1-7/8" hitch ball and a 2" hitch ball. You wouldn't think that a 1/8" would make that much of a difference but it does.
