Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Master Lock nine-thirty-seconds inch diameter chrome trailer coupler latch lock with the three-and-a-half-inch span. Now this is designed to keep your trailer locked to your vehicle or it blocks hookup when you're unhitched. The conical housing right here fits snug against the coupler latch while the pick-resistant screw and lock mechanism right here adds extra protection. It does have an easy-to-grip textured core right here, makes a nice secure hold when you're installing it. And the plastic cap, or actually a rubber cap, will shield the key slot right here from any dirt, moisture, and whatever the road throws at it.
So when you're done locking it, just put that cap over there to protect it. And the way you unlock it, it does include the two keys. Basically, you just put your key in there, turn it a quarter of a turn, and it'll unlock the core, comes right off. You can slide this through the opening and on the other end you'll just take your core put it back on there, leave the key in it, turn it back a quarter of a turn, take your key out and it's locked in place. Put your cover in there and you're all ready to go.
It is a tough, hardened steel construction, and it has a nice chrome finish, stands up to wear and corrosion. It is designed to fit the trigger latch style or the lever latch style ball couplers. Now we mentioned the pin diameter right here is nine-thirty-seconds of an inch or seven millimeters, and the inside pin length or span, which is this mount right here, is gonna be right at three and a half inches. And again, just to show you, pop open the cap, take the key, put it in, quarter of a turn, comes right off, leave the key in there, put it back on, turn it back, take your key out, and it's locked on, and put your cover on just like that. Very simple to install and remove.
But that's gonna do it for a look at this Master Lock nine-thirty-seconds inch diameter chrome trailer coupler latch lock.
great product
