This A-frame coupler will let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle, provides the connection point for your hitch ball.This is a weld on heavy duty A-frame coupler. Comes with a pre-drilled hole right here for mounting an A-frame jack to, so it's ideal for towing trailers and campers that'll be jack supported. This coupler is made of a sturdy cast steel, has a nice black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance. Does use an auto engage latch here, which features an easy one hand operation.Includes the safety pin right here to lock the coupler to the ball.
Just to show you that, we're gonna unlatch this safety pin, and when you latch this, you can see the handle is actually spring loaded. So basically, it'll automatically connect.Here's an example of a two and 5/16 hitch ball. You can see when you just lay it on there and push down. Once you push down enough, the weight of it will automatically lock it into place. The handle's in place, and you just take your safety pin, slide it across, lock that, and then you're hooked up.And then to remove it, just again, unlatch your safety pin, and then just pull up on that and that'll release it from the ball.
So it's simple that it'll automatically latch to the ball, and then just by pulling up on it with one hand, you can release it from the ball. Go ahead and put the snapper pin back in and lock that into place.We mentioned it is a weld on installation. This trailer coupler is amazing! Really simplifies the hitching process. No more guessing if the trailer is actually hitched. Any new trailer I buy, the coupler will be replaced with one of these.
