Can Yoke Style Trailer Coupler Be Repaired

Question:

My trailer has a yoke Style latch which has been damaged. Can I get a repair kit for just the latch mechanism? The remainder of the tongue is not damaged. 2 ball? Ill check Thank you.

I do have an option for you but coupler repair parts aren't universal so if any of the internal latching mechanisms are damaged or worn on your trailer coupler then chances are high it will need to be replaced for which we offer the A-Frame Trailer Coupler part # CA-5210-B. This coupler will need to be welded to the frame for installation so a local shop is likely your best option for replacement.

Do you have just the handle/latch part? this has broken on my coupler - just the top-side handle that latches the yoke forward.

@DanielH Sadly, we do not. If your handle/latch is damaged, the only option will be a new coupler. If you want something a bit more durable and serviceable, take a look at the Demco Cast Head Coupler # DM37ZR. These are super solid since they are cast. The latch mechanism is also super durable, and it is replaceable if the need ever arises.
