These JetStream crossbars are built from aluminum, giving you the strength and stability to haul outdoor gear without worry. With a 165-lb weight capacity and a 60" long x 2-3/4" wide x 1-1/8" tall profile, they provide dependable support for everything from kayaks to camping cargo. The durable construction holds up on long trips while keeping weight low for easier handling.
Driving with a roof rack doesn’t have to mean listening to constant whistling. The aerodynamic JetStream design helps smooth airflow over the bars, while the rubber strips in the top channels close back around your mounts to reduce wind noise and vibration. You get quieter, more comfortable highway drives without extra tinkering or trimming.
Some racks make you cut rubber strips before mounting your gear. This one skips that hassle. The push-down strips in the top channels let you press hardware directly into place—no cutting required. Once your accessories are mounted, the strips close up around them again, sealing out wind and helping keep things tidy.
Whether it’s a kayak in summer or a cargo box for road trips, this system is ready for it all. The aero-style crossbars work with most universal cargo, water, snow, and bike carriers that mount through the top channels or clamp around the bars. That flexibility means one setup can handle gear for every season and activity.
You can upgrade the setup with Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately). These lock cores deter theft of the rack so you can leave your vehicle parked at campgrounds or trailheads with extra peace of mind.
