Adaptable Carrier


The LockRack ladder rack set allows you to transport most ladders on the roof of your vehicle, without the need for load straps. The arms ratchet in and hold tight against your ladder, while the upright adapter piece keeps the ladder from sliding forward and back.

Low Profile When Not In Use


When your Ladder Rack is not in use, you don't need to uninstall the carrier from your roof. Just remove the arms, rotate them 90 degrees, then reinsert them so that they lay parallel with the roof of your vehicle. This will reduce wind noise and give you more clearance when parking in your garage. Keep in mind, the upright piece will still be vertical. However, the center upright bar can be removed for increased clearance, when not in use.

Universal Installation


The ladder rack set can be installed in the top channels of your crossbars or with the provided universal adapters. If your crossbars do not have a top channel, the universal adapter set will clamp around your crossbars holding the carrier tight to your roof rack. The adapters clamp around most crossbars.

To install the carrier with the adapters, set the carrier on top of your crossbars with the top portion of the adapter clamp already attached to the carrier base. Then hold the bottom portion of the clamp under your crossbar and tighten the clamps down with the included hardware and tool.

Built-In Security


LockRack carriers have security built-in with locks in the base of the carrier, securing the ratcheting arms. Once you've locked your gear in the carrier by pushing the arms tight against your ladder, the arms will stay locked until you remove them with a key.



This carrier comes with 4 identical keys. Once the arms are locked in place, insert a key into the locking mechanism in the carrier base. Rotate the key to unlock and release the ratcheting arms. If you ever need a replacement key (sold separately) you'll need to know your original key number. This number is not located anywhere on the carrier so be sure to make note of the numbers printed on the inside of the original set of keys.
