Can Old Yakima Round Crossbars And Q Towers Be Used With New System On 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD?

I have a new 2024 GMC 2500 HD. I have the Yakami Q towers from my old truck, along with the 78 round bars for carrying two canoes. I am assuming that the Q towers wont work on the new GMCs. What would I need to get that would fit my current round bars. Thank you, Bill Eldridge Benton, AR

Hey there Bill, I got good news and some bad news. The good news is that we can piece together a kit and you can re-use your old Yakima crossbars since they are the same diameter as the new ones. The bad news is that you are correct in saying the Q towers won't work with your new vehicle so you'll need the new ones.
The complete kit for your 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD with naked roof is as follows, and remember you already have the crossbars so you technically do not need to buy more:
