etrailer rocks! Great customer service and support. All pieces worked as promised and for my vehicle.

A bit disappointed that Yakima towers do not have a height adjustment so I can make both round crossbars level to keep my canoes from catching too much air on the highway. My vehicles roof flush rails are are curved vertically and change widths front to back. Had to Mickey Mouse the back crossbar to make it higher with PVC brick moulding.

Also the tower covers with the Yakima label don't clip on strongly enough so I had to add duct tape because I did not trust them to stay on.

These convertors will allow me to continue to use my hullavator system currently on round bars. The drop in feature of skyline towers makes the whole change out a snap. Certainly better than buying a whole new hullavator.

Have been rocking my Yakima rack from etrailer.com for a year now. I am using rack in conjunction with a Tepui tent. Once I added the air deflector, I would say it's the perfect setup. The Yakima gives more clearance over the factory rack, so I was able to get my hands under it to secure the tent hardware. If you're thinking of upgrading your factory rack, I would not hesitate to use etrailer.com

The Yakima roof rack system is an Outstanding product. I purchased the product to replace the OEM roof rack because it was too flimsy to carry the tandem bike mount and my bike. 2017 Volkswagen Golf

Bought as a pkg for my 2017 Golf R with Round Bars since I had a bunch of Yakima bike racks and a canoe gunwale rack for my old Yakima set up. Installation was easy with good instructions. All measurements from the Yakima site appear to be spot on.

Product works as advertised thus far. When you buy the yakima towers, you are required to purchase these as well to fit the rounder bars (I feel sure there are other adapters for other bar shapes). These should have come with the towers in my opinion, and I resented having to shell out more $$ to purchase these "must have" adapters to mount my bars. 3 star overall rating based on function, price. Delivery and packaging was top-notch through etrailer.

Loved the Yakima roof rack system. It's been a year and it is still going strong. Such an easy install and it looks great on my truck. My Yakima Skybox 16 sits perfectly atop the roof rack. My drives to The Sunshine State are all the more pleasurable and comfortable. My cargo area now has plenty of extra space since I load up my skybox 16 which sits perfectly on my Yakima roof rack system. The service from Etrailer was awesome. Great UX for finding the options matching my car, and the baseline towers work great. Simple straightforward site, will plan to use them again when needed.

For those also buying crossbars for cars without roof rails, recommend taking a silver sharpie and marking the placement of the crossbars on the weather seal at the top of the door openings. Makes putting them back on way less of a hassle if you don’t want them on 24/7.

2019 Toyota Sienna

Installation of the hitch, wiring,rear bike rack, and new roof rack towers went well. I didn't set any speed records, but I was more concerned with doing no damage on a new 2019 Toyota Sienna AWD van. The hitch fit up well per instructions except that I was able to work around the exhaust without lowering it. Underbody panel and rear fascia did both need to be removed. Very happy with the end result. The new van is now set up to haul the bikes and canoes and move my log splitter.

etrailer is excellent...however, not too pleased with Yakima and these cross bars - second set in four years...they make them out of a steel that rusts quickly...better out of stainless or aluminum. Maybe that is their idea of planned obsolescence. I also learned not to install end caps...that accelerated the corrosive process.

Well you asked for it so;
I ordered this as part of my roof rack for a 2021 Nissan rogue. The complete roof rack set was unavailable le as one bracket was on back order and said would ship in under a month so I ordered everything else in the meantime. Little did I know it would take a over a year to get one stupid bracket and yes, I'm still waiting. I can't even return the items I bought because it's way past the 90 day policy even though they're brand new still in the box collecting dust. etrailer, this has been the worst experience I've had yet with you guys. Oh still waiting for my one bracket to complete my roof rack

The Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898 can fit round bars by grabbing around the crossbar and can fit aero shaped bars if the bars have a channel on top of them.
