I am contemplating purchasing a rooftop tent for my 2021 Subaru Forester with moonroof and existing factory side raised rails. What crossbars would you suggest?

For a crossbar system that will be able to accommodate a roof top tent on your 2021 Subaru Forester, I recommend the following parts:

- (optional for theft-deterrence) Yakima Same-Key Lock Cores # Y07204
With this Yakima crossbar systems, you will be able to accommodate a rooftop tent up to a maximum static weight capacity of 600 pounds. If the tent that you use is less than 600 pounds, you will abide by that weight capacity instead. Also, I recommend consulting your owner's manual to make sure that the roof on your 2021 Subaru Forester can accommodate that much weight.

Hi - you recommend Y00425 above because, in total, it has a max static capacity weight of 600lbs. However when I click through the link, the crossbars state a capacity 165lbs. Are you sure the advice is correct?
