Required BaseClips for a 2016 Toyota Prius C Yakima Roof Rack Kit

Question:

I'm trying to get a roof rack set up for my 2016 Prius C. So far with the sites pre-made sets I have: Cargo Basket #Y07070, Crossbars #Y00425, Baseline towers #Y28TR, Baseclip kit #Y06123, and Baseclip #Y6164. So with the rack assembly and the cargo basket I ended up have 2 sets of baseclip kits in my cart. Do I need both? What is exactly what I need? Thank you for your time!

For your 2016 Prius C, you'll need both sets of BaseClips. Your complete kit will be the following:

Yakima JetStream Crossbars, Black 50 Inches, part # Y00425
Yakima BaseLine Towers, part # Y28TR
Yakima BaseClip Fit Kit, part # Y06135
Yakima BaseClip Fit Kit, part # Y06179

You will need BOTH BaseClip kits, part # Y06135 and part # Y06179. One will be to fit the front bar, and one for fitting the rear bar.

The LoadWarrior, part # Y07070 is a direct fit for these bars, though you'll want to be aware of how your rear hatch opens with the basket installed.

I recommend adding a kit of Yakima SKS keys, part # Y07204 for added security for your new roof rack.
