The 12V motor extends and retracts the steps through the included switch kit, giving you reliable power when you need it. The drive system uses solid steel rods and stainless steel bushings for lasting durability, and the motor runs quietly so you can enter and exit without extra noise. Each 24" wide x 11-1/8" deep tread gives steady footing with an 8" rise between steps, making it feel like climbing real stairs.
Each step surface has a non-slip tread and reflective edges that are easy to see, even in low light. The design helps prevent slips in wet or dark conditions and gives you clearer visibility when camping or parking at night.
The frame is made from sturdy, powder-coated steel that stands up to weather, road grime, and heavy use. Air-pressed rivets at key pivot points keep movement smooth and tight over time. The 300 lb capacity means the steps stay steady when carrying gear or helping others climb in.
If the steps hit an obstacle while extending, the built-in safety feature automatically retracts them to prevent damage. They also retract when the vehicle’s ignition is turned on, so you don’t drive off with them extended. With an extended height of 14-1/8" and a folded height of 7-3/4", the unit stays compact and secure when stowed.
This replacement assembly includes the steps, motor, and switch kit for Kwikee 32 Series setups. The mounting plate is 23-3/4" wide x 11-3/8" deep with a 22" x 8" bolt pattern, so it bolts into existing holes on most setups. A 4-way plug connects to your existing harness, and a 4-way pigtail is included if hardwiring is needed.
