These electric steps make getting in and out simple. When you open the door, the steps automatically extend; close it, and they retract. The built-in two-piece sensor switch keeps everything synced, so you don’t have to think about it. If the ignition turns on while the steps are still out, they pull in automatically to keep them safe for travel.
Each 23-3/4" wide by 8" deep tread has a textured, non-skid surface that grips even in wet weather. A built-in LED light comes on when the steps extend, giving you clear footing after dark. The steps stop and retract if they sense an obstruction, helping prevent damage or injury.
Made from rustproof aluminum with a black powder coat finish, these steps stay solid and clean-looking through years of use. They support up to 300 lbs without bending or flexing, and the corrosion-resistant build means you won’t be fighting rust like with older steel steps.
This 2-step Tread Lite assembly is designed for entry heights between 19-1/2" and 22-1/2". The mounting bracket measures 25-5/8" wide x 7-3/4" tall x 18" deep, and when fully closed the steps are only 26" long x 17.5" wide x 7.75" high. That compact size keeps them tucked neatly under your door when not in use.
