Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at the Titan Lunette Ring. This comes with a three position adjustable channel as well, so you can mount this to your trailer and have that connection point that you need for hauling it down the road. We take a little closer look, it's going to have a powder coat on that lunette ring, so it's going to keep it protected from any kind of rust and corrosion. The channel itself has a raw unpainted finish. They're both made out of a sturdy duct tile iron. So they're going to give us a really strong connection point between our truck and our trailer.
The hardware to mount that lunette ring in place is included, so we'll get our bolt and lock nut. Two of those to mount that in place. As far as getting it attached to our trailer, you can weld this in place or you can mount it with the poles there, doesn't come with any hardware to do that, but more than likely you're going to be welding it anyway. As far as the size or the measurements with this guy, the ring has a diameter of three inches on the interior.The exterior is going to be about six inches. The thickness of that ring is about one and five eighths going height wise, and then the channel bracket measures seven and a half inches by three and five eighths on the exterior, the interior is three inches.
As far as the weight capacity, it's going to be 21,000 pounds. Of course, you do want to make sure that all the components in your system are up to that task, your towing vehicle, as well as anything else in between. So you're only as strong as your weakest link. So keep that in mind with that weight capacity. But this is going to have a one year limited warranty from Titan and should be a good addition to your trailer.
