These Kwikee 34 Series steps include the motor and switch kit so you can extend and retract them with a simple signal from inside. The 12V motor works with the gearbox for steady movement, and if the steps hit an obstacle, they automatically retract to prevent damage. They even pull in when the vehicle ignition turns on, so you don’t drive off with them still out.

The powder coated steel construction and solid steel drive rods make these steps tough enough for daily use. Stainless steel bushings and air-pressed rivets at every pivot point add long-term strength. With a 300 lb weight capacity, you can step confidently knowing they won’t flex or give under load.
Each tread measures a full 30" wide and 10-1/4" deep, giving you a natural stride and stable footing. The 8" drop/rise keeps your climb comfortable and consistent from the first to the second step. Non-slip treads and bright reflective strips help you see your footing clearly in low light.
When extended, the two-step assembly reaches 14-1/4" high for easy entry; folded up, it’s only 7-3/4" tall for travel. The mounting plate measures 29-7/8" wide x 11-3/8" deep with a 26" x 8" bolt pattern, matching original Kwikee mounts for a straightforward replacement using existing holes and wiring.

Weatherproof wiring and a corrosion-resistant powder coat keep the system performing through rain, dust, and road grime. The included switch kit hardwires directly to your power and lets you manually operate the steps anytime—simple, dependable, and ready for the road.

Great quality
Exactly what I ordered and in a timely fashion. Easy to do.
Steps arrived in good shape & waiting on RV shop to install them:
Will provide pictures when installed:
Easy to install and works as good if not better than the original.
Great product, and it was an easy insta llation!
I received the wrong product but in one call I talked to Heidi M. and she was very nice in taking care of what I needed to make things right. I was very impressed on how they got my item to me quickly and will definitely order from them in the future.
More businesses should operate like this one.
They fit perfect and installation was a breeze
Steps arrived in good shape. Box was badly torn. No damage to steps. Took about 3/4 Hr. to install. They work great. Your staff is great to work with. If I need parts that you carry. you will get my order. Thanks again for the great service.
etrailer had the model I needed. I tried one other company and they sent me the wrong model. Shipments are always quick with etrailer.
The step works fine after 1 year in operation.
Would purchase again from etrailer.
A year later - we're still very happy with our replacement Kwikee step. The price was right, fast shipping, and everything works as it should. If you're debating fixing or replacing your worn-out step - replace it!
I installed the new kwikee series 34 steps on a 2009 Tiffin Phaeton 36 QSH. They bolted up on the support frames with out drilling any new holes. The kwikee installation manual was a life saver. I went through all the step testing and chassis wiring test. I had a problem with the door magnetic switch which I found during the test procedures. I am well satisfied with the new steps.
Overall excellent. The footprint of the mounting holes did not match the previous Kwikee steps I had; so I had to drill through the baseplate. Also the magnet operation to open/close was reverse of the older model; so I had to install new magnets (supplied with product). Other than that, steps are solid and operating fine.
etrailer is quick and much less cost than suggested retail from the mfgr.
The new stairs are excellent as well as Etrailer’s customers service. The shipping was fast and free. I only had one issue with the installation. The magnetic door switch is not compatible with my Phaeton. There really isn’t a good spot on my rig to mount that type of switch. I realized that my existing door switch on my rig was a normally closed switch. The new stairs need a normally open door switch. I purchased a new n/o door switch for $20.00 and installed it right where my old switch was located.
See photo attached.
Maybe this will help someone in the future.

Fit perfectly worked as expected great customer service
Everything went great! I purchased an electric step for my 2016 Tiffin Open Road. Tiffin wanted $1250 plus shipping (about $200) plus tax. ETraler wanted $969. (Free shipping) plus tax. I also checked RV Giant and RV Country and they were higher than Tiffin. Thank you Ashley at etrailer.
Karen did a fantastic job on helping me find the correct step. I first placed the order on line then called customer service and found out I ordered the wrong step. It came on time. I was some what upset that the step had scratches and some scrapes. I think this was one that was ordered then sent back. The staples on the carton weren't secure. All the seams were taped over. Some of the scratches were visible after the install. The step fit just perfect.
when I ordered the step I told the rep that i needed the motor/gear assy. also. Did not offer me that option. Only after I called Lippert did I find out that I could have ordered it with the step as a kit from etrailer. Cost me more $$ because I ordered each piece seperately
