The Kwikee 24 Series electric step system takes away the hassle of climbing tall entries or dealing with heavy manual steps. The motor and control unit automatically extend the three 30" wide x 10-7/8" deep steps when the door opens and retract them when it closes. With an 8" rise between steps and a 300 lb capacity, it feels sturdy and natural to climb. The included amber incandescent light makes each tread visible at night for safer footing.
These steps are built from powder-coated steel that resists weather and road wear. Solid steel drive rods and stainless steel bushings keep the movement smooth and reliable over time, while air-pressed rivets at the pivot points add long-term strength. The weatherproof wiring and sealed motor enclosure protect against moisture and corrosion for dependable operation year after year.
The integrated safety system retracts the steps if they strike an obstacle during extension and automatically pulls them in when the ignition is turned on. That means you don’t have to worry about leaving the steps out before driving away. A non-slip tread surface with reflective strips adds traction and visibility in low light.
This assembly includes the steps, motor, and control unit with a 4-way plug that connects directly to most existing harnesses. If needed, a 4-way pigtail is included to hardwire the system to 12V power. The control unit operates at 10 amps, coordinating the motor and step light with the door switch for fully automatic function.

Yes, the box survived with some cosmetic trama. The stairs were fine not a scratch. Installed immediately and everything works great. Very happy with the end and desisted result. No longer need to step up 16 inches like with the OEM’s steps.
Quality product. We are installing on older motorhome (1981), so bolt pattern did not fit, but room on mounting plate to modify and make it work.
Step works as expected. Replace 2 step with a 3 well worth the money. Not going to disparage the step for poor packing and a bunch of scratches. Just know the chances of getting a clean one is slim.
Exactly what I was looking for. Replaced a two step narrower version. Plugged right in and everything worked awesome. Much nicer having the extra width and 3rd step.
Steps are great!
No more trying to get into the RV with things in your hand and worrying about not being able to hold on to a handle.
