Replaces the electric steps, motor, and control unit for your Kwikee Revolution series RV step. Motor and control unit automatically extend and retract the steps when you open and close the door. Wiring pigtail hardwires to your RV's power.

Note: This step assembly includes the steps, motor, and control unit only. The steps will operate automatically, extending when the RV door opens and retracting when the door closes.
If you want the complete step assembly that also allows you to override the automatic retraction so the steps stay out whether the door is open or closed, you will need a switch kit (sold separately).
The Kwikee steps include several safety features in an effort to prevent injury to you or your passengers and damage to the RV steps. If an obstruction is detected while extending, the steps will halt and retract back into the stowed position. The steps will also retract when you turn on the vehicles ignition, even if the automatic retraction override has been activated, in case you forget to stow them before driving away.
Will Kwikee Electric Steps Work for You?
Electric steps are typically installed on RVs and some travel trailers. The electric steps from Kwikee install and fold up underneath the camper for simple storage. To ensure you choose the correct size for your application, there are a few measurements you will need to take.
The Kwikee electric steps attach to the underside of the camper chassis, directly beneath the doorway. To decide which size you'll need, locate the space available underneath your camper that lines up with the doorframe, and measure the width and depth. You will need a mounting space that is at least 25-1/2" wide and 11-1/8" deep.
If it turns out you have more or less space beneath your doorway, there are other step assemblies available with bracket sizes ranging from 24-3/4" wide to 37-1/4" wide. A full list of the available steps is below.
Outriggers - metal brackets that act as an extension (LC301704 - sold separately) - may be needed for installation depending on the model of your original stairs. These provide extra length if the old steps are longer or wider than the new.
Once you know where the mounting bracket will go and what size mounting bracket you need, that spot will be used as the "mounting point" to determine how many steps you will need.
How Many Steps Do You Need?
To decide on how many steps you'll need, measure from the mounting point to the ground. This is called the entry height. The entry height should roughly match the height of the steps when they're fully extended, plus 6" to 8" to account for the drop from the bottom step to the ground. This measurement will also tell you how many steps you need.
The chart below displays mounting bracket widths in the first column and entry height measurements in the second column. The third column shows the corresponding part numbers. Use the mounting bracket width and entry height measurements you took to determine which part number will fit your RV. Choose the bracket size that is closest to your measurements without going over.

George i contacted e trailer reference no paperwork arrived with unit. E trailer states warranty is 90 days. I contacted Leipert they said 1 year warranty . I requested paper work for documentation already in process Thanks Again

Step Unit quit working 5weeks - when the customer associate was contacted each (at first spoke with 3 tech associates total) each had many questions for me to answer along with me providing pictures of product, labels and later for me to removed motor part. Next for them to authorize exact part replacement (for me to repair). After all the efforts answering technical questions taking voltage samples hooking up external 12vdc power supply to verify for the associates that motor unit operation (still didn’t work). I Was re-roughed to a parts associate who asked again same questions and provided pics sent previously for tech associates making sure everyone had same information. New step motor was shipped and received wrong part doesn’t even fit nor even work on the step model information I provided to all the associates. I requested a correct part be shipped and have been assured correct part will be sent. Now Over two months later I have not received replacement part. Email was noted an overnight shipment would be arranged- I replied verifying request to ship new part. No part has been provided nor any shipment notification for part was on its way. Todays date my now disassembled step is not operational and no help getting past this new step purchase failure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This Revolution Midi Miki 2 step matched exactly what I replaced. I used a car jack and a piece of 4x4 scrap to hold it in place. The Lippert Kwikee Revolution steps that I purchased replaced the same steps that had failed on our Winnebago Coach after five years of service. I would give the steps 5 stars except that I had to match drill the new steps to the existing mounting studs under the coach as they were fractionally different which did not allow the step frame to mount to the coach. Otherwise, the instructions were clear and concise and the steps activated perfectly when electrically connected. Kudos to Anna at etrailer for her capable and friendly assistance in completing the sale.
