These electric steps extend and retract automatically every time the door opens or closes, powered by a 12V motor and control unit rated at 10 amps. The step assembly matches the original Kwikee 42 Series mounting dimensions, so it bolts up cleanly to existing holes. The included 4-way plug connects to your existing harness, or you can use the included pigtail to hardwire it if needed. This step was a perfect replacment/upgrade for my coach. The only issue I had is it got damaged during shipment and emailed had to send out another unit. This item should be shipped on a pallet to avoid damage both saving me time and etrailer money. I would order again if the need arose.

Was a perfect fit for my 2005 Holiday Rambler Navigator. Listing says 25 1/4” width but it’s really 26 1/4” which is the correct size for Monaco built RV’s. Stainless trim from original steps needs to be transferred. Also I needed to trim some fibreglass panel on the lower fender to free the old steps.
