Need to know when does the lite on my step come on and how long does stay on. Its a two step Kwikee

I contacted Lippert and the Kwikee double step like part # LC3722617 light will time out after 5 minutes or when the steps retract after closing the door whichever comes first. The light comes on when the steps are extended. If you happen to have it setup with the automatic retraction override activated the light will time out so you don't have to worry about power drain.
