These 27 Series steps make getting in and out simple. The motor and control unit automatically extend the steps when you open the door and retract them when you close it. The 12V system draws 10 amps through sealed, weatherproof wiring, so it runs smoothly in all conditions. Safety overrides keep things protected — the steps stop if they hit something and automatically retract when the engine starts.

Each tread is 29" wide and 10-7/8" deep with a 7" drop/rise, giving you solid footing that feels like real stairs. The non-slip surface and reflective strips make entry steady and visible even in low light. Built from powder-coated steel with solid drive rods, stainless steel bushings, and air-pressed rivets at each pivot, these steps are built to hold up to 300 lbs with no flex.
The motor works with a heavy-duty gearbox for consistent motion, while the integrated control unit manages extension and retraction automatically. If the steps encounter an obstacle, the motor stops to prevent damage. An ignition override retracts the steps when the vehicle starts, keeping them protected while in motion.
Everything from the powder-coated finish to the stainless steel bushings and sealed connectors is made to resist corrosion and moisture. The strong steel frame and weatherproof wiring stand up to long-term outdoor exposure without rust or shorting out.
This replacement assembly includes the steps, motor, and control unit. It fits existing mounting holes and connects with the included 4-way plug or pigtail to your wiring harness for a direct swap. With a folded height of 7-5/8" and an extended height of 14-1/2", it’s a straightforward, heavy-duty upgrade that restores smooth, automatic entry to your setup.

Little harder to wire than we thought as it worked backwards to start with, and had to reverse wires on door switch which took a little time to figure out. Otherwise works well.
The Series 27 #LC375632 with 29" tread was an exact fit. Only issue is that etrailer tried to offer a Series 32 which was in stock. The manufacturer says the Series 27 has been discontinued and the 32 replaces. But the Series 32 is only 24" wide. It would never fit.
As always etrailer, went above and beyond, when UPS damaged our order, they got a new one out right away no questions ask I received it it fit as promised, and works wonderfully! Appreciate all the help from the staff on finding the correct part at a great price and great customer service.
Great quality and mostly easy to install, 5 bolts and one electrical plug. Tip, use floor jack to hold in place while inserting bolts.
Product supposedly an exact replacement, not true, not of the bolt holes are in the correct position
Step is working as expected. Easy installation. Etrailer Rep was exceptional and very knowledgeable about product.
Always great. Arrives on time or earlier than expected. Only thing is we ordered some electric steps. 27" in length. The box it came in was about 4 ' with no other Styrofoam or cardboard to keep in from sliding back and forth in box.UPS manhandles items, so got some little dents and scratches. Just need better packaging. Thanks
Fast shipping, installation of step was a direct swap except for the wiring, had to reverse two wires, operation is smooth.
Love the new power steps
it was delivered ahead of schedule, installed in under 2 hours.
Product is good. It’s the ordering from etrailer. When I placed the order over the phone I asked if I needed to change the door contact switch and was told no I don’t need it.
Installed the new step and it works in reverse of what it should. Did some research and I do in fact need one. Ordered the $[XX] contact and having to pay $[XX] for overnight shipping to get before my next trip. Had they gave me the correct information I would not be having to spend double in shipping compared to the contact.
This step replaced the original that had sustained unrepairable damage by the previous owner. Replacement parts are no longer available, so a new assembly was required. The quality of the new unit is superior to the old and it bolted up to the original holes and plugged in to the original harness. The only complaint is that the mounting dimensions shown on the web page are inaccurate and misleading, as it appeared that new holes would have to be drilled to mount the steps, in reality, the step dimensions were correct and no modifications were required. I am satisfied with the end result.
Great step. Identical to OEM on my 2011 Tiffin Phaeton. Works great and installed without too much difficulty. I only wish they would make a step with a larger depth of tread. I really miss the depth of tread I had on my fifth wheel after installing a Lippert solid step
lippert step assembly came in a etrailer box No paperwork and no new door switch as they normally come

no instructions
easy direct replacement. did not need new door switch that others did
The steps are working as advertised, unfortunately the steps are not a direct replacement for the old obsolete steps. I had to have a machine shop manufacture a steel adapter plate to mount the steps. The riser height from the second step to the first step in the Coach is increased by six inches making it difficult for some people to enter our coach. We had to replace the door magnetic switch to a normally open switch to get the steps to extend when we opened the door.

If the steps are not quite a fit then I recommend using outriggers like part # LC301704. These provide extra length if the old steps are longer or wider than the new.

The steps are still working well. We haven’t had any problems.
Exact replacement for a 2012 Tiffin Phaeton with a LCI 168367 steps. I did need to change the door plunger switch to a normally open Lippert Components Kwikee p/n 379407 for the steps to open and close correctly.

Thanks for your feedback Jesse, I'm glad we had what you needed to get the job done!
Great service
very helpful, quick delivery. GOOD JOB!
Great stairs and exact replacement on our 2010 Tiffin Allegro Open Road Red. Four bolts and plugged right into existing wiring connector. The only thing we had to do was swap out the door contact for normally closed vs normally open. We also removed the skid tape and installed a custom version we had made from a skateboard shop. We like quahogs. : )
I wish they had included the normally open switch that was needed for this step.Joanne gave me great help
Our new replacement steps arrived within 4 days of ordering and were an identical replacement for the old steps. There were four bolts holding the steps on and some wires that had connections identical to the existing ones. I used a floor jack to support the steps during removal and replacement. It took me about an hour to make this relatively simple change. The new steps work great!

After a year or so, our steps are still working as good as the factory original steps. Very happy with them!
Four bolts, one ground, one plug in. Use floor jack for weight and half hour job.
Steps will fit with a little modification. Hole pattern was off and will have to be drilled. So far they seem to be the right replacement
2018 Tiffin Red. Steps are installed and working. Two outer bolts are hard to get to but manageable. Used 2 floor jacks side by side to lift steps into place. I got 3 nuts started and left the steps to hang in folded position. Connected power to extend the steps unplugged power then started the last nut. Tightened the 4 nuts. I also moved the ground to the chassis. Drilled new hole and cleaned area down to bare metal. Steps have a reliable ground now. Previous ground was a second nut holding the ground wire onto one of the mounting bolts. It was a lousy ground and probably the cause of intermittent operation if the steps ultimately leading to their damage from not retracting.

Sorry to hear that, Kevin. Were your previous steps the Quickie 27 Series motorized 29" wide steps? We have had a few people say they weren't direct replacements as well, but a lot said they were the correct ones. Also, what are you installing them on?
