These Kwikee 32 Series steps automatically extend and retract when the door opens or closes, so you always have a secure step when you need it. The motor retracts the steps if they hit an obstacle, and an ignition override pulls them in when the engine starts. Each 24" wide, 11-1/8" deep step has a non-slip tread and reflective strip for visibility at night, plus an amber C193 incandescent light that illuminates the surface for safer footing.
The sturdy steel construction is powder coated to resist rust and wear. Solid steel drive rods, stainless steel bushings, and air-pressed rivets at pivot points add lasting strength. The weatherproof wiring keeps the 12V system protected from the elements, so the steps perform reliably through rain, dust, and road grime. With a 300 lb weight capacity, they stay solid under real-world use.
The included motor and control unit work together for smooth, automatic operation. The control system draws just 10 amps and connects through a 4-way plug or the included pigtail harness, making it simple to tie into existing power. The motor drives the gearbox for consistent movement every time you open or close the door—no need to wrestle with manual steps.
When extended, the assembly stands 14-1/8" high; when folded, just 7-3/4". The 25-1/2" overall width and 23-3/4" wide x 11-3/8" deep mounting plate fit most standard brackets with a 22" x 8" bolt pattern. The 8" drop/rise spacing between the two steps feels natural and comfortable when climbing in or out.
An integrated amber light shines directly on the steps, making nighttime entries easier and safer. The reflective step edges also catch low light, giving you quick visual cues when returning after dark or in dim campsites.

Overall a very good experience! The electric steps have several holes and fit our 2004 Newmar Essex -fairly easy install (steps are heavy). Once order was placed item was shipped and received within four days. Thank you etrailer we were able to get back up and running very quickly!
These electric steps mounted so easy to my 2011 Damon Challenger 368 and connected to my wire harness without any issue. I did have to replace the door switch and magnet which came with the assembly.

Crap packaging allowed the stairs to poke holes in the box damaging the stairs. Very disappointing. These stairs were not packaged for shipping.

This product was a perfect fit from my original steps on my RV. The only problem I had was the weight trying to pick this up and aligned the bolts. At my age of 72 you can see why, once my daughter arrived myself and her raised the steps in place and everything went perfect. I would highly recommend this product also customer service went beyond advising me on the order from the purchase and arriving of the steps at my home.

The kwikee 32 replaced my steps on my 2007 tiffin allegro bus. All connections and bolt patters matched perfectly. These steps are heavy i used a jack to lift them into position for installation.
Got the steps today. Opened up the package to check contents. No damage to the steps but the vehicle side plug with pigtails was missing. Can't install the steps without it. Got on chat and talked to Ashley about the problem. She said they would send me the plug and email me tracking information. She referred to it as harness but the provided a photo which confirmed that what she was sending was the plug I needed.
Delivered to eastern Canada in no time, I installed alone in an hour, the connectors fit perfectly, worked the first time around, highly recommended and at a good price

I would give a 5-star rating because of the service I've received from etrailer but the Step does not work when wired properly when the door closes the step goes out when the door opens the step goes in we had to reverse the wires on the sensor now it works but it's not the way it's supposed to be I do not believe this to be an e trailer issue however it is frustrating. E trailer has always provided top notch service so i wasn't sure how to rate this. I also tried changing the brain on the step but no difference. Another note is my old wire plugs on my motorhome were corroded so had to cut them off and direct wire so didn't think it was worth the hassle to try for warranty

It sounds like you needed to replace the switch with the steps. The older steps had a closed switch and the newer ones have an open switch. If the switch is not replaced, the steps will work in reverse. You need part # LC369311.
It's what Thor should of put in the magnitude in the first place fixes the huge step that it had from the factory
