These electric steps extend and retract automatically every time the door opens or closes, so you never have to bend or reach for a switch. The 12V motor and control unit work together to run the steps smoothly, and the included 4-way plug ties into existing wiring for quick connection. The system draws only 10 amps and is built to handle up to 300 lbs, making entry and exit simple and consistent.
The heavy-duty steel construction and powder-coated finish hold up to weather and road grime. Solid steel drive rods and stainless steel bushings keep the motion tight and reliable, while air-pressed rivets at the pivot points provide long-term strength. The steps measure 26-1/4" wide by 9-3/4" deep with an 8-1/2" drop/rise, giving comfortable footing that feels like solid stairs instead of a ladder.
These steps include built-in safety control so they retract if they hit an obstacle while extending. They also fold in automatically when the ignition is turned on, helping prevent damage if you forget to stow them before driving. The control unit coordinates both the step movement and step light wiring, so everything works in sync without extra switches.
This assembly replaces the steps, motor, and control unit for the Kwikee 47 Series. With a mounting plate that’s 30-3/8" wide and 20-1/2" deep and a 29" x 9" bolt pattern, it lines up with existing hardware for a straightforward swap. It’s designed to match the original footprint and wiring, so setup is clean and performance stays consistent every time you open the door.

Perfect replacement for the original. Works like a charm and very helpful staff to make sure it was the correct one for my coach.
Significant modification of the RV was required to get the steps to fit because Kwikee "redesigned" the 47 Series, changing the dimensions and mounting. But once they were installed, they worked great. E-Trailer had them delivered within 12 hours, which was amazing. I'll certainly use them again.

I am sorry to hear modifications needed to be made. I am going to reach out to Kwikee about that I am not sure if that was made aware. Otherwise I am glad that since installing they are working well for you and they were able to be delivered quickly for you. What kind of trailer did you install them on?
I very rarely give 5 stars. IMO, 5 stars should be reserved for those rare moments when the service is extraordinarily superior. The step is great, it matched up perfectly so I give 4 stars for that. However, the E Trailer customer service is and always has been above average, in fact, I would go so far to say that E Trailer customer service is the best service I have ever received from a retail company. Therefore, I give 5 stars. It’s also why I have continued to work with them over the years as the customer service is very cool!

Came in in great condition super easy to install
Fit perfect and working flawlessly.
Steps arrived by ups on time. These steps are very heavy,not sure how the driver could un load them,as I had to help. Cardboard shipping box was destroyed and the steps were bent up on one corner. Very poor shipping practice as they should have been in a wood crate. Poor,poor customer Svc at etrailer— will shop elsewhere.
This stair unit was a replacement for the original stair on our 2014 Entegra Cornerstone. I am happy to say it was a direct replacement and a great upgrade. Even the wiring was a simple connector that matched the existing and operation is the same.
My only issue was the fiberglass opening on our coach was about an eighth of an inch too narrow and it required a little trimming. Super happy with the unit and hopefully it serves us well into the future.

After one year of use, these steps continue to work great and I couldn’t be happier with them. Looking forward to them functioning for years to come. I would recommend them to anybody considering changing out the steps.
