The roof rack works well. The only problem I have is noise and while I'm carrying a ladder there is none. I figured if I take the ladder off I'll split a piece of pvc pipe and mount that on the front of it. But they work well for what I needed for work. The service from etrailer was excellant. I dealt with Carol and she did a very good job in helping me.
We purchased the Yakima Skyline Towers roof rack with the Jet Stream crossbars. Took about 2 hours to install on the naked roof of our Flex. I drilled through the roof strip for the mounting bolts and they fit tighter than the factory rails. Very happy with our choice.
I choose etrailer simply because they mailed to APO. I’m a AD SM, and a lot of companies don’t shop to APO. As soon as I ordered my product, I received an email as a courtesy from etrailer letting me know I had an individual that would be tracking my product every step of the way, reassuring a smooth process. They fit perfectlly and solidly on my 2021 Toyota Highlander. The instructions are clear and entirely accurate.
All parts of adapter were not needed. Instructions were a little unclear.
My experience with etrailer has been excellent. There was going to be a potential delay in one of the products, but their customer service promptly informed me, half the price of some of their competitors so can't really complain. In the end they got the part ahead of schedule and was able to ship in a timely manner. I will definitely keep them in mind for future purchases.

At first, a little tricky to install, as the kit comes with hardware for a variety of applications (different length/size bolts, etc). But after a quick look at the directions and identifying which bolt to use for my car, install was a breeze. I love this Yakima setup because I can remove the bars/towers and leave the landing pads with a cap. Makes it great for taking the canoe out on weekend trips, but not taking the fuel-economy hit during the weekday commute to work.
These are a must for HD bars and the shipping was fast! I wish there was some way to know I had to get these because they are not included.

Just what I needed to mount my yakima tent. The HD crossbars are really well made and the service from etrailer is top notch.
Very well engineered product. Goes together like an erector set for the adventurous. That includes attachments and accessories as well. The total kit was for a 2026 Honda Ridgeline with a Diamondback SE bed cover.

After a year, the landing pads look like new and have worked out spectacularly. Ive tested the pads on/off the car, and they havent affected fuel economy aero drag at all, so I just leave them on. Id highly recommend these, and I appreciate etrailers video tutorial before I purchased the product!
