No more banging your knee on a big controller box. This unit measures only 3-3/8" long x 3" wide x 7/8" thick and mounts neatly under the dash using the included adhesive pad or zip ties. It stays completely out of sight while still giving you full control through your smartphone. Thanks to its 3-axis accelerometer, it can be mounted at any angle and still sense direction of travel correctly, keeping your trailer braking smooth and even.
With proportional control, your trailer brakes match how you brake—light pressure for gentle stops or hard braking when you need it. The built-in accelerometer measures motion and automatically applies the right amount of power for trailers with 1 to 4 axles (8 brake assemblies). It works with electric trailer brakes, so every stop feels steady and predictable.
You don’t need to cut or splice anything. The included custom harness plugs directly into your factory port under the dash and then into the Echo module. Built-in safety features like reverse polarity and short circuit protection keep everything running reliably. Once connected, LEDs on the main unit help with quick troubleshooting so you can confirm status at a glance.
If you tow different rigs, the Echo makes switching easy. Save multiple trailer profiles in the OneControl app so each one has its own max output and sensitivity levels ready to go. I reached out to Curt about the problems with the new app. They advised that the new app runs the same as the old app it has to run in the foreground unless they are using the button which is the same as the old app. They wanted to know if you were having trouble getting past that screen. Which type of cell phone do you have and which IOS are you using?

Still 5 stars, lots of trips including a long tow of over 5000 miles. Consistently worked flawlessly. Mild annoyance that they changed the app but once I learned how the new app worked it continues to function flawlessly.

Hmm...youll be looking for another white plug like the white harness. Do you know if your truck for sure has the factory tow package?
