Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our DeWay battery powered fuel transfer pump for gas cans. Folks, this one has a 51 inch long impressive reach, manual hose and trigger mechanism that simply latches right back on there. Now this is gonna be most commonly used for fuel transfer and built to standards for multiple applications such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuels, those kind of things. It is compatible with non-potable water, agricultural chemicals, antifreeze, and even windshield wiper fluid as well.
Now I like to use these for personally draining aquariums. They work really nice for that, as well to keep that in mind as an option as well. Now getting into it, the intake tube has about a one and a quarter inch diameter base there and the intake tube length is about 17 9/16 inches long. Once again, you have a spring loaded manual trigger here that's gonna be really nice. And then you have a little latch here if you want to keep it on while you're transferring fuel, water, whatnot.
And again, everything here is nice heavy duty construction. You have a little latch here, that's again where the hose is going to hang onto. You have an on and off button there, green and red, and a little LED indicator whenever it's on. So it's gonna require the use of two D batteries. Those are not included.
You can purchase them separately here at etrailer.com. Item number DU78QR. Again, two D batteries not included. The flow rate's about 2.4 gallons per minute and you're gonna get approximately, roughly a hundred gallons of fuel transferred on a brand new set of D batteries. And as you can see, a nice handle on top.
Again, that way you can pick it up and carry it and just easily put it down inside of the fuel can that you're transferring from. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
Your product looks good I haven’t tried it yet. I’m a big dummy I didn’t pay close enough attention to the description of the product. I thought the 51” hose went in the drum I’m trying to pump out of a 55 gallon drum. So spent a lot of money on a pump that won’t pump my 55 gallon drum. Fast service- product looks heavy duty. My bad!!!!
