Question:
Hi I’ve read on a couple forums now and people recommend your website ! That being said. I have a 22 Toyota Highlander. With installed flat 4 connectors for the trailer I need to know. What all I need And how I can wire in a trailer brake controller. Not a blue tooth and wireless one. One you mount in the dash and control that’s wired into the vehicle.

Hey William glad the good word is getting out! So to add a brake controller you are going to need to first add the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 which will utilize your existing 4-pole and add everything else needed to add a brake controller.
With that added, you're clear to pick a brake controller and get it installed. If you're not already set on a brake controller, I recommend going with the Redarc Trailer Brake Controller # RED24FR with the Universal Wiring Harness # RED69FR.
This brake controller itself is small so when mounted it's pretty much out of the way, blending in to your dash. This brake controller is also not Bluetooth, and will work with trailers up to 2 axles with 12v systems.
If you need anything else, feel free to drop a comment!

Hey William, how did things go getting the Redarc brake controller and wiring kit set up on your Highlander? Your update could make it easier for others adding a wired controller to a similar setup.
