Enables us to use our existing Blue Ox Swaypro on our new truck with a 2 1/2” receiver instead of using an adapter. Also, we needed to lower the hitch ball because the truck is higher than previous vehicle. It worked great.
I bought the Blue OX 2 1/2" shank because I did not like using my 2" shank with a sleeve on my 3/4 ton pickup truck to pull my camper, because of the sloppy fit. I now have less pieces to use and a tighter fit. The ordering and fast delivery was great. I use E trailer for all my trailer needs. There tech support is unmatched.
Received my Blue Ox 2.5” shank in record time, at a very competitive price and better yet, free shipping on a item that weighed 28 pounds! Etrailer is the first place I look for any of my RV parts etc.
Ordering from these guys is a breeze. Products arrive quickly and on time. I had to get this distribution shank to switch ball for R/V to another truck. All parts fit. Have a couple of LONG Hauls with it. Everything worked as expected.
This was just as described. I upgraded my truck to a 2500 and found the 2" tongue hitch that came with my tow package would not lower enough to make my travel trailer level. This dropped it about 3 more inches which worked perfect. It also allows for more tongue weight which is very nice.
Exactly what I needed for my 2023 Sierra 2500. Extends a little farther than other hitches and keeps the tailgate from hitting the jack. Used with 9k enclosed trailer with weight distribution hitch.
I needed additional drop on my Blue Ox weight distribution hitch when I bought a RAM Powerwagon. This longer shank worked perfectly! An added plus was the 2 1/2 inch shank that was the same as my receiver hitch. No more adapter that rattles all the time. My trailer now sits level. Thank you.

This shank allowed me to level my trailer with a new 3/4 pickup, as they get bigger every few years, and it allows me to forget the hassle of lining up the holes in the receiver with a 2" shank and adapter for a 2 1/2" receiver. With the weight and bulk of hitches this small improvement is quite nice.

Instead of needing a new hitch when I upsized my vehicle they had just the right parts to make going from 2” to 2-1/2” a painless and budget friendly.
Exactly what I needed for 2 1/2 inch receiver hitch.
Haven't got to use it yet but nicely built and going with the 2 1/2 receiver end has less movement then the 2 inch
If you have 2.5" shank receiver tow hitch in a 3/4 ton truck like my Ram 2500, this part fits much tighter and is safer all around as compared to using an adapter to make a 2" receiver shaft fit a 2.5" hitch. Less wear, less noise, better control. It is also very well build with excellent finish and the proper sized pin. And etrailer service is the BEST!

It is the part that I needed to upgrade my WDH to my 2.5" receiver. I would wholeheartedly recommend this part over a reducer coupler.
Works so much better with the hitch on my F250. Done with the reducer sleeve when using my weight distribution hitch. Shipping was spot on.

I recently bought a new truck, and have a camper with a blue ox sway pro installed. The old tow vehicle used a 2" receiver, and the new truck uses a 2 1/2". I could have bought a sleeve, but thought it would be better in the long run to use an actual 2 1/2" shank. This fit perfect, and works with my sway pro. Installation was easy, but if anyone is doing this, make sure that you go through the process to determine your ball mount height, as it probably won't be a simple swap to the the holes at the same locations on the new shank.
