The hitch head has a built-in positive caster angle that works with the tapered trunnion bars to keep the trailer centered behind the tow vehicle. Constant tension in the bars holds the trailer in line, so you stay steady even when the wind picks up. The system’s dual sway control points at the rotating brackets keep the lift chains tight and stable, with only a couple of links hanging free. That design eliminates the grinding and popping noise common with friction systems while keeping everything tracking straight and quiet.
Uneven tongue weight can cause sagging, poor handling, and uneven tire wear. The SwayPro evenly spreads the trailer’s tongue weight across all the axles, restoring balance and control. It’s rated for 15,000 lbs gross towing weight and tongue weights from 1,000 to 1,500 lbs, letting you use the full capacity of your hitch safely. The hitch head’s preset pitch and built-in angle help level the trailer automatically, so headlights stay where they should and steering feels natural.
Some hitches need heavy leverage or multiple tools to snap spring bars into place. With the SwayPro, you just insert the lift chain into the bracket slot and rotate it with the included wrench until the lock pin engages. The rotating lift brackets clamp on without drilling, making installation fast and clean. The head comes preset and ready to go out of the box—no washer stacks or complicated thumbscrews. The trunnion bars pin into place easily and stay locked with clips. Once installed, you’re ready to tow in about an hour.
Built from powder-coated steel with grease zerks in the head assembly, the SwayPro is made for long-term use and easy upkeep. The lubrication points keep everything moving smoothly, and the powder coat resists rust and corrosion. The system includes the head assembly, adjustable shank, spring bars, lift chains, rotating brackets with handles, reducer bushing, pin and clip, hitch ball, and all necessary hardware. Once set up, it runs silently and doesn’t require disconnecting to reverse or maneuver in tight spots—just tow, back up, and go.

It works really well. I’ve have other types, and this one works as good but is much easier to connect.
