Question:

I purchased a Blue Ox SwayPro hitch, and its been great so far, but the slop in the 2inch shank it came with plus the slop in the 2inch to 2.5inch receiver adapter I have to use with it for my 2.5inch hitch make for a lot of movement in the hitch assembly if the road gets a bit rough. Id like a shank thats a direct-fit for a 2.5inch receiver, but I need to know whether it will fit the head for the SwayPro system, or if its limited to only the TrackPro hitches.

I have another option, but the Blue Ox Track Pro Weight Distribution Shank for 2-1/2" Hitches # BLU26FR you were looking at is designed to work with the the Blue Ox Track Pro Weight Distribution System.

Since you have the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution System # BXW1500 you will need the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution Shank for 2-1/2" Hitches # BXW4028 which will give you the 2-1/2" receiver you are looking for, and will allow you to get rid of the 2" to 2-1/2" adapter causing play.
