Hello everybody, this is Jeff etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Curt Carbide Black Custom Fit Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for the Nissan Titan trucks. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2004 and newer Nissan Titan Crew Crew Cab and King Cab trucks. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year in model vehicle and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now the custom mounting brackets on the ends here, these are designed to mount beneath your truck bed and they provide the attachment points for your fifth wheel rails here.
The base rails right here, these are what will sit in your truck bed and they allow the installation of your fifth wheel trailer hitch to your truck. Now the install brackets on the sides here, I'm gonna zoom in on those for you, they are custom fit brackets. They're designed to mount to existing holes in your vehicle's frame. You can see the holes right here. That'll help minimize drilling.
Means the installation time is cut in half compared with the universal bracket systems. Now this is a complete kit and will include the mounting brackets we mentioned, the base rails and the mounting hardware to install everything. Nice set of instructions that'll describe how it all installs. And the rails themselves right here, these will be visible in the bed of the truck.
