There are multiple ways to measure the length of an axle beam, but the hub-face-to-hub-face and spring-center-to-spring-center lengths are the most accurate. Hub face (A) refers to the length of the axle measured from the base of one wheel stud to the base of the wheel stud on the opposite side of the axle (when hubs are mounted on the beam).
The spring center (B) is the approximate width of your trailer. It is measured from the center of the spring seat on one side of the axle to the center of the seat on the other. This axle beam comes with the spring seats welded on.
If you are replacing your trailer's axle, you should be able to figure out which type you need by determining your trailer's capacity, the bolt pattern of your wheels, the brake type and the aforementioned lengths.
etrailer axles are made of high-strength steel and come with spindles and spring seats welded on. The spring seats are attached to the underside of the axle so that the leaf springs (sold separately) can mount beneath the axle. The result of this underslung design is a trailer that rides a bit lower for quick and easy loading and unloading.
Each axle is manufactured to create a certain camber angle. This ensures that the angle of the wheels is correct for your towing needs. Because the primary concern when towing is maintaining controlled, in-line movement, each axle is made so that your trailer's tires will run along the pavement evenly, with contact across the width of the tread. The result is excellent straight-line acceleration for steady, in-line tracking. You might notice the bend near the center of the axle; this is what ensures the proper camber angle. Having the center ride a bit higher and the sides of the axle bent lower allows the axle to give just enough to compensate for the load.

The axles that I ordered last year are still working out great. But even better than the parts was the service I got from etrailer. It was so great working with a company who took the time to listen to my project and help me get the right parts I needed, especially coming right off the heels of a terrible experience dealing with bad information and wrong parts from a competitor. Even with some damages in shipping, the returns/ and replacements were no hassle, with most issues being quickly resolved and not even costing me any additional downtime. With the purcahase of additional spring seats, I was able to get more clearance to the bottom of the trailer. Easy grease, where have you been all my life.
Welds looked good however the assembler failed to rotationally align the weld on spindle/brake mounts properly. One was about 3 degrees off and the other side was an 9.5 degrees from the 12 oclock position. Not sure about the thickness of the tube. Kind of strange to look at when the top of the brake system is not at 12 oclock. Found this after I removed the spring pads on this 2.1 degree camber axle so I had to jig the tube to fine zero toe to locate the new pads as the 2.1 camber tube changes wheel alignment depending on the bend/ springpad relationship. Not sure the AVG JOE is going to be able to move the spring pads when the brake mounts can't be used as a reliable ref point. If the toe is off from improper pad rotational location. the trailer will eat tires at best or worse cause a loss of controlled tracking and someone could get get killed.
So far performing well. Have not been able to use trailer yet as much as I wanted to, don't use the grease nipples. Its easy to regrease without.
I would have gave you five but when I contacted to about the missing bolt and no shalf protector on the one end. Bolt was missing on the brake plate.

Everything is working perfect with that replacement axle. I have definitely put it to the test a lot of miles with a lot of weight. Very highly recommended.
No issues with the bearings
Replaced the old axles with these on my 7x16’ equipment trailer, been nothing but amazing since I’ve installed them. Hauled thousands of pounds since and with minor greasing and normal maintenance they’ve been great.
Very easy installation. Everything fit perfect.
The box carrying the axle was empty. You might want to protect the ends of the tube better so it doesn’t fall out during delivery.

I haven’t installed the axle yet, but it looks to be pretty solid. Time will tell. Irrelevant to the axle, but I have to touch up some paint where UPS dropped it down on my concrete. Not a big deal though. It’s going to get beat up by road debris anyway.
Axle arrived fast, was exactly what I ordered and needed. Install went well with no problems.

It is a older trailer and I needed to move the anchor points on the axel but that was not difficult to have done.

This is a high-quality, reasonably priced axle. It was delivered quickly to my home and installed easily.
The mounts were 1/2 inch closer than advertised. I was able to persuade the springs inward to compensate. Good price and fast shipping.
Great product and customer service
The axle was exactly what I ordered and showed up much quicker than I expected. I installed it in about an hour. Good quality. Having the wire for the brakes already ran inside the axle made it very easy to rewrite the brakes, nice feature.
PaulaT was excellent in helping resolve a wrong axle issue. I ordered one too short, but she was able to fix me up.
Good product and good service
They have alot of parts. Just takes ti.e to learn to navigate the parts list. The videos they have are vary helpful.
