Required in most states, safety cables help ensure that your towed vehicle won't become a runaway vehicle if a breakaway occurs. Each cable has a coiled end that prevents dragging and a straight end that is ideal for tow bars with channel guides.

Heavy-duty safety cables ensure that your towed vehicle does not separate from your motorhome in the event that your tow bar becomes detached. Spring-loaded, drop-forged steel latches provide a secure connection while towing. A smooth vinyl coating prevents the cables from scratching or chipping your tow bar.
The hybrid, coiled-to-straight design will keep the cables off the ground. These cables are ideal for tow bars with safety channels, such as the Roadmaster Nighthawk tow bar (RM-676 - sold separately). Just remove the hooks and quick links from the straight ends and they'll fit neatly through your tow bar channel guides to attach to your towed vehicle. The coiled ends easily extend to your RV without dragging on the road.

Eyelets were too big to go through tunnel on the tow bar had to squish them so they would fit other than that good deal

Works great. The hooks are a very tight fit for the "Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms (Item # 921-3)" but you'll quickly learn the only way to get them attached. The cable fits very nicely within the carriage rail of the above base plate kit, so no need to fiddle with once setup correctly.
These cables fit perfectly through the channel on my tow bar because of the uncoiled section. The coiled section keeps the remainder of the cable tight so that it does not hang down.
I ordered towing safety for my Roadmaster tow bar, and once again E-trailer came thru with flying colors. Everything arrived on time and in good shape. Excellent quality parts packaged well and shipped immediately via UPS. Thank you Hannah !

Exact replacement! Don’t cross the cables under the hitch. If the hitch drags the cables will scuff. No real damage to the cable, but the plastic coating was cut badly. Live and learn.

these cables will not fit through the tubes on my road master sterling all terrain tow bar 8000lbs ! the hoop at the ends are to big to fit in the tube

I am sorry that the safety cables are not working with the channel guides on your Sterling tow bar. I reached out to Roadmaster and they advised that some of the older models have a smaller channel as so the loops will not fit through. The only solution I have would be to use a coiled cable like part # RM-653 that would not use the tow bar channel and keep the cables from hanging too low.
this is an excellent choice for cables. the coil allows you to have expansion with out dragging your cable on the road and still have plenty of reach.
