When you’re hauling gear or towing a trailer, the rear end can sag and throw off your balance. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 7,000 lbs of load support with hollow rubber springs that sit above the axle. They keep the vehicle level under weight so steering, braking, and traction stay consistent. The system works with your existing suspension to take strain off the stock components and maintain a confident ride when loaded down.

Bumpy roads and rough terrain can make long hauls uncomfortable. The Aeon hollow rubber springs in this setup act like shock absorbers, soaking up bumps and road vibration. Their progressive design means they stay soft under light loads but get stiffer as more weight is added, giving you a smooth, stable ride whether the bed is empty or full.

When a trailer sways or a curve pushes you around, these springs step in to keep things level. Each spring works independently on its side of the vehicle, cutting down on body roll and sway during sharp turns or uneven loads. That independent motion helps keep both sides planted so your handling stays predictable even when conditions change.

Getting more stability shouldn’t mean tearing apart your suspension. This system bolts directly onto the frame rails above the rear axle using custom brackets and hardware—no drilling required. The rubber springs replace your factory bump stops and are designed to work with a suspension that’s already in good shape. With no airlines or compressors to manage, it’s an easy install that’s built to last with a limited lifetime warranty.

After a year I would rate these as excellent. They have done everything I wanted and the Navion is substantially more stable. Most people add the back ones and that did help but then added the front ones and everything improved. The system seems very balanced and is know an ease to drive.

Thanks for taking the time to share such a detailed review and all of the pictures! The unloaded ride is a concern we hear fairly often with SES upgrades, so your experience with the 1" gap and rough-road testing will be really helpful to others considering these for their F-250. We appreciate the kind words about Naomi and our team as well. Looking forward to your update once you get some miles on them with the Rockwood!

Love hearing this! Really appreciate the detailed feedback and photos. That extra stability when you're loaded up can make a huge difference. And installing them at 11 at night—that's commitment. Hope they treat you just as well on those mountain roads. Safe travels and we'll definitely make sure Dee Dee gets the shoutout.

I am going to install the Timbren MBRSP35A - Rear Axle SES Suspension Upgrade on my RV, but until they arrive, I re-installed the original that I took out for dimensions. I did quickly discover the difficulty of re-installing it, but also found a trick that helped and once found it installed fairly easy. As mentioned above, install one end of the rubber mounting tab into the bracket on the frame. Next, dont try to get the opposite tab in all at once...start with the inside corner of the tab, and with a large screw driver, begin working from the inside towards the outside, stuffing it just a little at a time...no soap, no lube...it just slipped right in.I hope that helps. I think the MBRSP35A - Rear Axle SES Suspension Upgrade will even be easier because you at least have the full body to grip and apply pressure as you work the screwdriver.
