I have a 2017 Forest River Georgetown GT5 I have a roadmaster falcon on the back already. I’m trying to set up my 2016 dodge dart 1.4l manual transmission as a toad. What do I need besides a base plate.

Hello Ray,
Thanks for writing in, happy to get you a complete flat tow set-up for your 2016 Dodge Dart.
- Base Plate Kit: Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-52294-1 - because this is a crossbar-style base plate you will also need Replacement Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly for Roadmaster Tow Bars # 910021-00 to attach your Falcon tow bars to your base plate.
- Wiring: Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - 7-Way to 6-Way Hybrid Adapter Cord # RM-152-1676-7, the straight part of the cord will go through the Falcon Tow bars.
- Safety Cables: Roadmaster 80" Hybrid Coiled-to-Straight Safety Cables - Double Hook - 10,000 lbs - Qty 2 # RM-674
- Brake Light Relay Kit: Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 - you will need this part for the braking system to tie into.
- Braking System: 2 options- for a 1 time install and my favorite: Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Braking System for RVs w/ Hydraulic Brakes - Wireless Monitor - Proportional # DM86VR, or if you prefer a braking system that you have to put in each time: Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System - Proportional # BLU37TR.

Thank you so much for your support in this matter. Yes I’m new to flat towing a vehicle not on a trailer. Yes this is my first motorhome which is an amazing experience so far but most definitely found out that we need our vehicle with us once at a park, for things that are not in walking distance.
