I just bought a 2027 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon with the factory steel bumper and want to flat tow it behind our diesel motorhome with air brakes. I like Roadmaster products and would prefer to stick with them for the setup. What all will I need to get everything connected?

Hey Michael, congratulations on the new Gladiator! For your 2027 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon with the factory steel bumper, I recommend the following Roadmaster flat towing setup:
-Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521453-5
-Roadmaster Falcon 3HD Tow Bar # RM27NQ
-Roadmaster 80" Hybrid Safety Cables # RM-674
-Roadmaster Diode Wiring Kit # RM-15267 (Without ParkSense)
OR
-Roadmaster Smart Diode Wiring Kit # RM63MR (With ParkSense)
-Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25
-Demco Air Force One Braking System # DM26VR
The wiring option depends on whether or not your Gladiator has ParkSense. If it does, you'll want the Smart Diodes to work properly with the Jeep's lighting system. The Demco Air Force One is the best option for air brakes, and includes wireless monitoring so you can see when the Gladiator's brakes are being applied.
You may also need a high-low adapter like the # e52ZV to keep your setup level. Measure the distance from the ground to the center of the hitch receiver on your motorhome. The difference between your measurement and the 16-1/4" base plate height will be the rise/drop you need.

One more question, is there a portable braking system I could use instead of the Air Force One? I'd rather go that route if possible.
