The hinged ball socket and pin fastener on this coupler ensure a secure connection every time. The flip latch pulls the collar back to open the ball socket. The black powder coat finish is corrosion resistant.

I haven't installed it yet, looks good has appropriate heft, good dry fit to the trailer tongue. Shipping was very quick.

This is a RAM coupler, and the quality is outstanding. Looking forward to years of reliable service from this coupler. it is replacing an old Bulldog coupler that served us well but is simply worn out.

Loved the personal service and the help. I tried a few other sources before going online to order from etrailer. One place I tried was an online tool dealer, and their online site was a mess without help and so was a retail location. etrailer, was quick to find me exactly what I needed and got me fixed up in just a few minutes. I really like this product, because it connects simple and easy! Also, it's well designed, durable, and extremely strong! I have one on my other trailer which was installed by the manufacturer. This lead me to find the same replacement for my current trailer repair, where the inferior style of the thin pressed sheet metal wore and pressed the 2" ball up through the top of the capture sphere. If practical, my advice is to consider upgrading the two steel spars from 3" to 4". As this provides more surface area for the connecting weld bead. As a practical disclaimer. Please consult a structural engineer who is knowledgeable in weights and balances and DOT trailer standards. Stay Safe!
Old school perfect for my airstream
This hitch came in in record time and was better than the original hitch that came on the trailer.
I ordered a bulldog coupler, the company called and offered a different model of the same thing and this is what they sent. It does not fit the lock I bought for the bulldog one I originally ordered and I didn’t discover that until after it was welded on. It also took me two years to get to it so it is not returnable(the lock). And as far as I can tell they do not make locks for these couplers at least not good ones
Awesome replacement for the hitch that was on our cargo trailer when purchased. We like the more sure and easier coupling with this style hitch.

Hitch has proved to be a great purchase.
Was a little skeptical at first but this is a heavy duty trailer hitch. I have finished building my trailer and the latching mechanism works great and it was easy to install. This product is just as good if not better than Bulldog and at a lot nicer price. You can't go wrong with this one.

Its been a year and I love my hitch no problems whatsoever I have pulled this thing everywhere and not a single flaw you wont go wrong with this one.
Really nice hitch. Just got it on today, works great.
this was an all-around great product and I say that because it was exactly what I wanted and as advertised, but I have to say the customer service was above and beyond professional and I would definitely encourage all new customers to buy from this company and see for yourselves.
