Question:
Hi, I recently bought a trailer that has a sleeve-lock coupler. I am looking for a kit that has a hitch pin lock, a coupler ball lock, and a long pin lock. I originally bought the popular Reece kit, but the lock for the latch was too short to go through a sleeve-lock. The ball lock was great, fit nice and snug and seemed to be made of solid material. I returned it for the Master Lock kit. The pin-style lock is long enough to go through the entire sleeve. However, the coupler lock seems very poorly made. It fits too loosely for my comfort and isnt made of solid, heavy material. I really want a kit that has all three components made solidly, and are all keyed the same. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance

For your sleeve-lock coupler, I recommend the Master Lock Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock and Coupler Lock Set - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # 3794DAT. This will give you the hitch lock, the coupler ball lock and the pin lock. This kit is the best kit that has all three components keyed alike. If you want a better fit, you may need to move to a system with different keys.
This Master Lock Set is very nice, but if you want the best coupler lock, I recommend you get something like the Blaylock Total-Encasement Coupler Lock for 2" Bulldog Collar-Lok Couplers - Push Button # BLTL-22. More secure, but requiring a separate key.
