When you’re hauling kayaks, canoes, or a cargo box across long stretches of highway, having solid support matters. The Yakima SightLine Roof Rack includes two 50" aluminum JetStream crossbars built to handle up to 165 lbs. That sturdy construction keeps your load secure and steady so you can focus on the trip, not what’s happening on the roof.
Rooftop setups can get noisy, but these aero-style crossbars are designed to reduce drag and vibration. The top channels have push-down rubber strips that seal around your mounted gear without trimming. They smooth out airflow and help quiet the ride whether you’re driving around town or cruising on the interstate.
These bars make it easy to bring what you need—kayaks for the lake, skis for the slopes, or a cargo box for road trips. The JetStream design fits most universal cargo, water, snow, and bike carriers. You can use attachments that mount right into the top channels or clamp around the bars for quick swaps between adventures.
If you want to leave your gear on while stopping along the way, the system works with Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately). Add them to deter theft of the rack and keep everything right where you left it when you get back on the road.
This rack includes two JetStream crossbars, four SightLine towers, and a custom fit kit for flush-rail installation. It’s built as a complete system that connects tightly to your roof rails for a clean, integrated look without awkward gaps or overhang.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
