Question:

Can you explain the differences between Yakima Sightline towers and Yakima Ridgeline towers? Both are compatible with my vehicle that has factory flush rails but Im curious what the differences are between these two towers. Thanks!

The Yakima SightLine Towers # Y64AR and RidgeLine Towers # 8880624 are very similar. The main differences is the SightLine is slightly shorter by 1/2" at 3" tall. Also the SKS Locks # Y07204 is hidden behind the outer cover on the SightLine where the RidgeLine places the lock on the outside of the tower.

For a 2022 kia telluride sx will the height difference interfere with sunroof?

@Mark Unfortunately, we do not get every make an model vehicle in to test roof fitment especially when it comes to sunroof clearance. This is a reason we and the manufacturers recommend always keeping the sunroof closed when using a roof rack. Do understand while the rack itself may clear the sunroof any number of different rack accessories can hang below the crossbar and cause damage to the sunroof.
