Question:

Hello. I have a 23 bmw x5 m50 and I want to put cross bars on and I like the Yakima rails. Does the recommended 60” look good or too wide . I just want the right look. Want to put my own personality to it. ?? Thank u.

Thanks for the picture! The 60" crossbars might be a bit wide. The roof racks with the longer crossbars are typically used for kayak carriers or people that need to mount two bike racks. I recommend going with more of a flush mount set up and we do have one made by Yakima. It is the 2023 BMW X5 roof rack by Yakima and it includes the following parts:

If you don't like it and want to stick with the 60" wide crossbars, that extend over the side of the rails, you will need the following parts:
