This Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack gives you a solid foundation for carrying gear on vehicles without factory rails. It comes as a full setup with 2 JetStream crossbars, 4 BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit made for a secure hold on a naked roof. The sturdy aluminum construction and overhang design deliver dependable support when hauling your favorite outdoor gear.
The aero-style crossbars are built to smooth out airflow and help reduce wind noise and vibration while you drive. Rubber strips fill the top channels and push down when you press hardware into place, so there’s no trimming needed. This design keeps your setup quiet and tight, even at highway speeds.
You can mount just about any accessory you already have or want to add later. The JetStream bars accept carriers that slide into the top channels or clamp around the bars, so it’s simple to attach cargo boxes, kayak cradles, or bike racks. With a 165 lbs weight capacity—always following your vehicle’s roof load limits—you’ll have plenty of room for the essentials.
Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores are sold separately and can be added to the towers to help deter theft of the rack. It’s an easy upgrade that lets you secure your setup when parked at a trailhead or campsite.
The crossbars measure 60" long x 2-3/4" wide x 1-1/8" tall and feature a black aluminum build that resists wear from years of hauling. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, this rack is made for long-term adventures on the road and water alike.
