I installed the unit to charge an auxilliary battery in a 1940 Cadillac Lasalle. After making sure all the leads were secure, I tested the charge at each battery. The primary battery was receiving a charge of 13.6 volts from the alternator, whike the secondary battery registered. 13.2.  The unit seems to function as advertised

    Hey Mike, yes the Dometic PerfectPower Battery Charger # GP95QR that you referenced would work if you ran the 12 volt power wire from your 7-way to it. It's rated for 10 amps which is easily provided by the 7-way. This will give an optimized charge on the battery as opposed to have just the circuit ran straight to it.

Since your trailer battery is lithium you will need a charger like this to charge the battery otherwise the voltage of your 12 volt accessory circuit would not high enough to charge the battery.
