What would you recommend for a 2020 chevy traverse with no side rails. I am also trying to use a cargo basket.

Since your 2020 Chevy Traverse does not have side rails and you are wanting to add a cargo basket, I recommend the Roof Rack by Yakima and it includes the following parts:

This is a flush mounted roof rack that will not extend past the side of the mounting legs. This is a more streamlined system than others which can extend past your roof line. The crossbars are 48-3/4" long and have a 165 lbs total capacity.

For a cargo basket you will want the Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket item # Y07138-08. This basket is 62" long x 40" wide. This basket weighs 64 lbs so it will give you the ability to carry 100 lbs of gear.
