Will the Thule Hullavator Fit on Yakima Jetstream Crossbars on a 2021 Toyota Highlander

Question:

etrailer, Im interested in mounting a Thule 897XT Hullavator to my new 2021 Toyota Highlander Platinum trim. It appears that Thule has not yet released a fit kit for their WingBar Evo bars yet, and so Im wondering if you think I could mount the Hullavator to Yakima JetStream bars? If so, would you recommend the standard 50 length, or 60 length to ensure clearance with the side of the vehicle? Thanks in advance for your help.

The Thule Hullavator # TH898 will fit on the Yakima Jetstream bars without any issues and I do recommend going with the 60" bars just to ensure that you've got the needed clearance to use the Hullavator's lift assist system.

If you've got a naked roof you'll want the Yakima roof rack system that uses parts # Y00426, # Y28TR, # Y06153 and # Y06132. If you've got the flush mounted rails you'll want to use # Y00426 for the bars still but use the # Y53TR and # Y66VR for the towers and landing pads.

I've linked some of our review videos on these parts, but you won't have any issues using the Hullavator on those Yakima bars.
