Hi - I am looking for a roof rack/cross bar set that will fit my 2014 Mazda 3 hatchback 5 door that would fit a rooftnest roof top tent - external width of 50 with a weight of 165 lbs. Ideally, I would also be able to attach an awning to the cross bars while the roof top tent is also attached. Can you help me find the right cross bar set for my car? Thank you!

I would be happy to recommend a roof rack for your 2014 Mazda 3 5 Door Hatchback for carrying a 165lb Roofnest Rooftop Tent.
If your Mazda 3 has fixed mounting points on the roof I recommend the Yakima Roof Rack System which uses 50" Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00425, SkyLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y53TR, and Landing Pads # Y00248.
If your Mazda 3 does NOT have fixed mounting points then I recommend the Yakima Roof Rack System which uses 60" Yakima JetStream Crossbars - Aluminum # Y00426, BaseLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Naked Roofs # Y28TR, and Fit Kits # Y06130 and # Y06132.
Both of these options have the 165lb weight capacity you mentioned your rooftop tent require, and will fit the width of your tent but will not have the extra room required to add an awning to the crossbars.
For an awning I recommend reaching out to Roofnest to see if they have an option available that mounts directly to the tent.
