Lets Go Aero Trailer Hitch Lock - 63232

  • Fits 2 Inch Hitch
  • Universal Anti-Rattle Lock
  • Keyed Unique
  • 3-1/2 Inch Span
  • Lets Go Aero
  • Spring-Loaded Pin

This anti-rattle hitch pin dramatically reduces any movement or vibration of your ball mount in your hitch. Included lock ensures security for your hitch accessory. Designed for use on hollow-shank ball mounts and accessories. 5/8" Pin diameter.

Features:

  • Trailer hitch receiver lock is used in place of standard pin and clip to prevent theft of ball mount or hitch-mounted accessory
    • Secure your bike rack, cargo carrier, hitch cover, and more to your trailer hitch
  • Anti-rattle pin reduces play and vibration in the hitch connection
    • Place block with spring inside shank of ball mount or hitch accessory
    • Slide ball mount or accessory into hitch receiver
    • Insert pin through hitch pin hole and anti-rattle block with spring
    • Twist pin with wrench (sold separately) so ball mount or accessory is pulled tight against side of hitch receiver wall
  • 90 Degree, barrel-style lock comes with 2 round, rubber-coated keys
    • Weather-resistant rubber dust cap keeps cylinder free of debris
  • Zinc finish is corrosion resistant
  • Sturdy steel construction

Specs:

  • Application: 2" x 2" trailer hitch receivers
    • Ball mount or hitch accessory must have a hollow shank
  • Weight capacity: 12,000 lbs
  • Pin diameter: 5/8"
  • Inside pin length (span): 3-1/2"
  • Overall length: 5-1/2"
  • 30-Day warranty

Notes:

  • This lock is not rated for use for flat towing.
  • This lock will not work with some factory 2" trailer hitches that have an outside width wider than 3-1/2". If a longer pin length is needed, see hitch lock SHP2040-XL
  • This device can only be used with hollow-shank ball mounts and hitch accessories.

The Silent Hitch Pin from Let's Go Aero takes the rattle and play out of the connection between your trailer hitch and your ball mount or hitch accessory. The unique design features a sturdy steel block with an attached spring that sits inside the shank of your hitch-mounted accessory.

Silent Hitch Pin DiagramSilent Hitch Pin Close Up

Place the block inside your ball mount or hitch accessory, and line up the hole in the block with the pin hole in your ball mount. Slide your ball mount into your hitch and insert the hitch pin. To activate the anti-rattle device, just twist the pin with a wrench (sold separately) to tighten it down. Doing this will pull the accessory up against the wall of your hitch receiver, thus keeping the accessory from moving around inside your hitch. No more annoying clanking or vibrating.

The 90 degree, barrel-style lock goes on the end of the anti-rattle pin to provide security for your hitch-mounted accessories. Two round, rubber-coated keys are included with the lock. A sturdy rubber dust cap comes attached to the barrel lock so that you can easily cover the lock cylinder, thus ensuring that no dirt or grime will get in to damage the lock.

  • Best RV Rated Cargo Carrier Option for Cooler, Generator and Bikes
I do have a solution for you, but the 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier # e98874 is not designed to be used on the back of an RV. Generally speaking, folding carriers are not ideal because they do not stand up too well to the extra stress exerted by the excessive up and down movement that takes place behind the rear axle of an RV. Instead, take a look at the 23x60 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier # CC-100. It's also rated for 500 lbs and it's basically the same size. The difference is that Stomberg...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2016 Mazda CX-9 with SwingDaddy Bike Rack
When we installed the Draw Tite hitch part # 76020 on a 2016 Mazda CX-9 we found that there was a distance of 6 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper. We used to carry the Yakima SwingDaddy that you mentioned and it had a distance of 6 inches from it's pin hole to the back of the knob for the swing mechanism. So you'd most likely have some contact there. The other hitch that fits your vehicle, the Curt # C13284 has the exact same...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2014 Toyota Tacoma
Both the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch # 13323 and the Draw-Tite Class III Trailer Hitch # 75236 would work well for you. These Class III trailer hitches have a 2 inch receiver, 5,000 pound max towing weight and 500 pound max tongue weight. For installation, both hitches require the bumper brackets to be loosed or removed. I would go with the Curt trailer hitch, as it is more economically friendly than Draw-Tite. The trailer hitch will bolt into existing weld nuts on your truck's frame....

  • Which Hole On My Hitch Opening is the Hitch Pin
Sounds like you have a hitch that is set up for a j-pin style of anti-sway.. The rearmost hole on the hitch opening will be a little bit larger and that is the correct hole to use for the hitch pin of your bike rack. Most anti-rattle devices for bike racks are specific to that manufacturer and model of bike rack. If you email me back with the bike rack you have I can see what we offer that would work.

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75676 is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Lexus RX 450h. We do not have any videos of the RX450h with that particular hitch receiver, but I have added the video of the installation of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13143 which is also a fit to assist.

  • Pin and Clip Recommendation for a Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18153
As long as you have a 2 inch hitch installed on your 2013 Toyota Sienna the Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18153 would fit and work well for you. It does not come with a pin and clip but you have a couple options. For a standard pin and clip you would want part # PC3, for a locking one part # e98880, and finally for a locking anti-rattle one you would want the part # 63232.

  • What Causes Hitch Accessories to Bounce or Move at Rear of Vehicle When Travelling
The shanks of the Curt hitch # C13394 that you mentioned is totally fixed and would not flex or cause movement/bounce. It essentially will be as rigid as your vehicle frame since it is so well reinforced. The length of the hitch tube would have really no bearing on movement of hitch accessories, but we do have ways to greatly reduce this type of movement with anti-rattle devices such as the # 63232 which install in the hollow shank of a hitch accessory and hold it tight against the hitch...

Hello Gary, Great question! For your Jayco Class C, the best dual 2” high-low hitch adapter for your setup is the Roadmaster # RM-077-2. It’s rated for 10,000 lbs towing and 400 lbs tongue weight, which will work well for both your NSA Ready Brute tow bar and your bike rack with two e-bikes (260 lbs total). It also provides the 2” height adjustment needed between your motorhome’s hitch and the Jeep’s base plate. The Let's Go Aero is actually my go to for locking hitch pins, so I would...

  • Lightweight Hitch Cargo Carrier for 2019 Tesla Model X
The Curt cargo carrier part # C18100 is a lighter weight carrier due to it being made mostly out of aluminum. For a lighter weight option for your 2019 Tesla Model X with a hitch like the Draw Tite part # 76143 installed this would be a really great option. It weight just under 30 lbs. For a hitch lock that doubles as an anti-rattle device the part # 63232 would be a great option as well. This holds the shank of the carrier to the hitch tube so that movement and noise is removed. Based on your owners manual it does appear you can dolly tow your 2019 Mini Cooper Automatic with the front wheels off the ground but I recommend checking with your dealer for distance or speed restrictions because the owners manual only references emergency towing and gives both a speed and distance restriction of 30 miles and 30 mph with no reasoning behind those restrictions. Hey Ron, for your 2019 Leisure Travel Van hauling two Townie GO! 7D Step Through e-bikes, I recommend going with the Lets Go Aero V-Lectric VFR Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # LGA25VR. This bike rack has an integrated ramp for easy loading, an 80 lbs per bike capacity and is compatible with fenders. The best hitch for your 2018 Infiniti QX60 is the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76031 because it is has the most ground clearance and bumper clearance of any hitch for your car.
