Strong and Silent: Anti-Wobble Technology for Secure Travel

Our Locking Anti-Rattle Threaded Hitch Pin pulls the receiver bar tight to one side of the hitch, eliminating rattles and ensuring a quiet ride. This feature makes your journey smoother, allowing you to enjoy the road without distractions from your bike rack's movement.

Versatile Fit for Varied Needs: Designed for Swagman Racks

Finding a hitch pin that fits multiple rack styles can be tricky, but this Locking Hitch Pin is compatible with both 1-1/4" and 2" Swagman racks. Whether you have the XC Cross Country or the Trailhead 2, this pin offers a perfect fit, providing reliability and security for various Swagman bike rack models.

Built for the Long Haul: Durable Chrome Plating

Worrying about rust and wear on your hitch pin can be a thing of the past. Our pin is triple chrome-plated to resist rust, extending its lifespan and maintaining its strength and appearance even after extensive use. It’s designed to withstand the elements, offering peace of mind on all your biking adventures.

Hassle-Free Locking: Keyless Operation for Quick Security

Fiddling with keys to lock your bike rack can be a hassle, especially when you're in a hurry. This hitch pin cap snaps into place without needing a key, making it quick and easy to secure your rack in a locked position. You only need your key when you’re ready to unlock and hit the road.

Peace of Mind on the Go: Secure Bike Transport

The Locking Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin doesn’t just hold your rack; it makes sure your bikes are safe while you're out enjoying your ride. By securing the rack firmly to the hitch and eliminating unwanted movement, this pin gives you the confidence that your bike rack and, in turn, your bikes are safe from theft during stops.

Perfect Solutions for Long Hitches: Extended Span for Different Vehicle Sizes

If you've ever faced issues with your hitch pin not reaching through your vehicle's receiver, this pin's 4-1/2 inch inside span ensures it fits perfectly through different hitch sizes, including oversized Toyota factory hitches. This feature makes it ideal for varied vehicle setups, ensuring a snug, secure fit every time.

  • Replacing A Broken Hitch Pin Bolt On The Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes
I do have a solution for you. The Replacement Threaded Hitch Pin and Clip for 1-1/4" Shanks on Swagman Bike Carriers, part # P5902, is the replacement bolt you need. The Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin for Swagman Hitch Racks, part # S64029, is also a replacement bolt for this rack. This option also comes with a lock instead of the clip. I did some research and your Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount, part # S64650, should still be under warranty....

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch and Cargo Carrier for 2015 Lincoln MKZ
For your 2015 Lincoln MKZ, I recommend the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24897. Unlike the Curt model that is also confirmed to fit your vehicle, the installation of this hitch will allow you to trim and reinstall the underbody panel/fascia for accommodation with the hitch receiver and crosstube. On the Curt model, this panel is completely removed and cannot be reinstalled. This Class I hitch will use existing holes in your Lincoln's frame for a no-drill installation....

Hello, and thanks for reaching out. The threaded bolts for the bike racks are largely brand specific. We may have a bolt for your but I will need to know exactly what Swagman rack you have. • Replacement Threaded Bolt for a 17" x 46" Curt Cargo Carrier C18145
Hey Michael, welcome back! You can use the Replacement Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin for Curt Bike Racks item # C82NR with the 17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier item # C18145. It's a 1/2" hex bolt with a 13 thread pitch. I don't have the length but if you're sourcing a replacement at a local hardware store you would just want to measure to either side of your hitch receiver. If you're interested in adding a locking hitch pin, the item # S64029 has the same thread pitch and works with the Curt cargo carriers.

  • Installation of Swagman Threaded Hitch Pin for Swagman Bike Racks
The Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin for Swagman Hitch Racks # S64029 comes with both the flat washer and the lock washer. I recommend putting the split lock washer on first and then the flat washer then insert the pin into the hitch. This will allow the split lock washer to compress flat to keep the bolt tight while protecting your hitch receiver from damage from the washer digging into the powder coat finish. The lock cylinder will connect to the opposite side of the hitch pin...

If you used the adapter that came with your Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" Trailer Hitches # S64670, the threaded pin will work for use with or without the adapter. There is a specific way to install that adapter, so I wonder if you have it switched because one hole is bigger than the other hole on that part, so reversing it could cause the issue it sounds like you are hitting. I suggest swapping the direction of those holes and trying the pin again. If you want...

  • Suggestion For Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack With Threaded Hitch Pin Not Long Enough To Secure With Clip
I do see where you got the Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack # S64670 and Threaded Hitch Pin # P5902 from us in the past. That pin is designed to fit most 2" receivers as well but there are some vehicles where the hitch is slightly larger and it will not clip properly. We do have the Locking Hitch Pin # S64029 which has a much larger 4-3/8" span so you know it will fit your receiver. The pin you have only has a 2-7/8" span.

Your bike that has a thicker tube will fit on the Swagman XTC-2 TILT 2-Bike Rack # S64671. The frame hooks of the XTC-2 will easily accommodate that size of tube, and will retract down far enough in order to grasp the frame. You will need to place your bike at the inside position - nearest your vehicle - in order to use it though, as this is the hook that will go down the furthest. I do recommend adding locks for this rack to help protect your investment. To lock the rack to your hitch...

To lock the Swagman XTC2 TILT Bike Rack # S64671 to your etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98843 you need the Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin # S64029 you referenced, but I actually recommend picking up the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable # S64031 instead because it comes with the same locking hitch pin as well as a cable that connects to the hitch pin to provide security both to your bike rack and the bikes you'll have loaded on it.

  • Is Replacement Key Avaialble Separately for Swagman Hitch Bike Rack
Individual replacement keys are not available from Swagman, so in order to replace one, you'll need to purchase the lock, which will include a pair of keys. If your Swagman hitch bike rack uses a dedicated 2" shank, the correct lock is part # S64027 (4-3/8" span). If your bike rack uses an 1-1/4" or 1-1/4" with 2" adapter, the correct lock is part # S64029 (4-1/2" span). • Swagman XTC2 Versus XC2 Bike Rack Comparison
If I had to choose between the two, I would choose the XTC-2, part # S64670. Not only does the XTC2 have rubber straps to better secure the wheels, but the wheel hoops themselves are much stronger and are slightly raised for better ground clearance. The rack includes a threaded hitch pin, but I would also recommend the locking hitch pin, part # S64029. With the addition of two padlocks like part # 131D, your bikes would be secured to the rack.

  • Why Is the Inno Tire Hold 2 Not Compatible with a Motorhome?
I have a great solution for you. The reason why the Inno Tire Hold 2 # INH120 will not work with your 2016 Thor Outlaw Motorhome is because the construction of the rack cannot withstand the extra forces/torque that is exerted on the rack when mounted on the back of the vehicle. When your motorhome goes over bumps/makes turns, the forces exerted on the rack increase exponentially in comparison to a shorter vehicle. Unfortunately, there is no adapter that will be able to solve this issue....
