This hitch lock lets you secure your Kuat Transfer to your 1-1/4" or 2" trailer hitch receiver. Threaded design helps to reduce movement and noise of the rack in your hitch. Not compatible with Transfer V2.

Like most of us i have gone through 4 carriers of various styles over the last 15 years. If i had purchased this one in the beginning i would have been ahead. Just love it and ease of using it.
So far so good. Use it to secure a bike rack to my hatchback. No issues.
Great product. Mounts easy. Bikes feel very solid and locked in. We ride our bikes to so many more places now because of it. Super!
works very well. not long enough to apply lock mechanism on new toyota double walled 2" receiver hitches (I still cannot for the life of me sort out why toyota felt the hitch needed to be So robust). you CAN, however, torque this on and apply a cotter pin. probably not 100% legit, but i do believe it's secure. I've not found any better solution as of yet. works perfectly on normal 2" receivers.
Bought this to add peace of mind for my receiver extender. My 7"-10" Hi-Lo Kuat extender has a bolt that accepts this standard lock. What I did notice is that the included threaded bolt has a small/different threads than the 7-10 Hi-Lo.....but since the Hi-Lo had the right bolt....no worries. I assume there are other extenders that use a different thread. Super happy with my purchases
Nice product. It’s not going to work on my vehicle, though. Not enough clearance to get it screwed in.
Stem is too small diameter for the rece iver
I don’t know about the rattle yet but it’s what I needed to be able to use the Adapter to step up to 2”.

Was a little confused at first, key does not come out when in unlocked position. Turn key, insert bolt, turn key back.
The bolt that I ordered had the wrong thread pattern, it was smaller than the original Kuat. However the locking mechanism fit perfect so I used my original anti-rattle bolt. Received the package in perfect condition and quickly.
Installs and locks the bike rack on as indicated.
The hitch pin itself prevents hitch rattle but the looseness of the locking mechanism at the end still rattles a bit.
This is not anti rattle. There is a lot of room that allows for a lot of sway. It does lock but that’s its only positive.
This is a great quality tightening locking hitch pin. It's heavy and feels solid without excess play in the locking mechanism. It was well packed and came with 3 keys on a keychain. I ordered this to use with a Thule rack because the lock we have been using isn't "compatible" on our Sprinter hitch (it would be just fine but someone at the manufacturer decided to weld a box to hold the towing cables just a couple inches from the receiver that blocks access to the left side of the receiver and in our case it meant we could neither feed the pin in from the left nor fit a key in to unlock the lock if the pin was inserted from the right. This hitch lock, with the keying perpendicular to the length of the pin instead of in line with the pin, works around that issue. It feels strong enough; hopefully it is an effective deterrent to rack theft when we travel. Mine did not come with an etrailer logo stamped on the lock unlike the photo (which I think is just fine, but pointing it out in case anyone else was deterred from ordering assuming that logo would be added).
I needed a lock for the kuat hi-lo riser, this works.

High quality materials and construction. I did not purchase this item for the specified bike rack. However, the pin is the only one I could find of the right diameter for my application. It looks like it will work just fine. Thank you.
This lock should help a little, but it isn’t a high security device. It locks onto the end of the pin somewhat loosely, and a motivated thief could probably defeat it without too much trouble. I would buy this again.
